I love getting stories where the fl isn’t transmigrated from another world, and this is one such story. It’s not perfect or some sort of grand masterpiece, but it’s a nice change of pace and fairly well-written.

This author is an expert at making characters who feel so unabashedly human. They have lots of flaws, view situations differently from one another, and, most importantly, learn and grow. This story made me cry more than once I believe and managed to keep me interested all throughout. I tend to speed read, but I FORCED myself to slow down so I could take this story in full. Throughout the story, we get to learn more about the characters. You may not even realize it, but after a few dozen chapters, your viewpoint of a character will expand and change completely.

We get to see how an apocalypse pushes people to change, for better or for worse. The main character is VERY complex and unique, just like the concept of monsterization that this author came up with. This one ALSO made me cry. Warning: The monsters are spooky

I LOVE how (most) characters in this story aren’t simply good or evil. You can’t view this story in black and white since most characters fall in between— they’re shades of grey.
