I LOVE me some stories with the most horrific creatures I have ever seen. Angst? The more the better. I find more interest in stories that will put me on an emotional rollercoaster than fluff, or stories with amazingly unique concepts.
I will not however, read straight up torture porn where the mc constantly suffers— that’s boring af. No, I want them to be happy so when something terrible happens, it hurts even more. I draw the line at rape (unless it’s genuinely important to the plot and isn’t romanticized), but everything else is fair game.

Oh and if there’s a story that may have some disturbing elements that cause readers to drop it early on, I’ll probably read it as long as the concept or characters is interesting enough. Bring it on
