Me personally i'm usually ok with depends on the time period and world setting because it could one of those series where the one who bought the slave actually try to help the slave, like teach the slave how to be dependable on their own when it's time to let them go
Enslaved x enslaver will never be a good story ploy especially not in a KOREAN manhwa, having the longest uninterrupted series of slavery, 1500 years.
