Realistic nightmares (tw. Sleep paralysis?)
Does everyone once in a while get a nightmare that feels so real you think is reality? I just woke up feeling so scared because In my dream I was in my bed like normal but then I couldn't move and I felt "things" (I think arms ) restraining me then I heard a comforting voice shushing me to sleep (I thought it was my mom's voice) but I couldn't, and I tried screaming or moving... At the end I woke up and my hand that was trying to move the arm was against the wall... I think I was suffocating in the sheets. I had one wrapped against my neck.
Just so you know, I don't think I've experienced s/a. (Like I'm sure about it not being psychically but not so much if other aspects? I'm talking nonsense probably rn I'm half asleep I think?) Also before falling asleep I was dizzy. My head was spinning and my eyelids felt heavy... I'm in my family house this place is safe. I don't understand what could have trigger this?
Yaaaas!!! Sleep paralysis and i are bff now. My first sleep paralysis was when I was 15. I remember vividly how i couldn't move any body parts while my brain was conscious AF. The first times are always scary. Then i had this out-of-the body experience, hallucinations during sleep paralysis (loud noises: banging of drums, crying of babies), and dre...... 2 reply
