Parents and apologizing
Do your parents apologize? Apparently only white parents say sorry, idk I was talking to some of my friends who aren’t white the other day and apparently their parents have never uttered the word sorry out of their mouth, kinda weird to me cause whenever I argue with my parents a few hours will go by and we’ll apologize to one another. And if they don’t apologize what do they do? do you guys just go back to normal after a few hours? isn’t that really awkward ?
My parents never apologize or acknowledge their mistakes verbally but they genuinely try to do better sometimes + they try to make it up to me with gifts and money. reply
