Cakeverse the new sub-genre

I found this info in some media, first appeared in KR then spread to others country.
Setting: Like omegaverse, gender split into female, male but with addition Fork, Cake and normal people.

Forks when reach a certain age cant taste anything, nothing wrong with their tounge or the food just having a loss of taste.

Fork cannot resist the temptation from Cake, no exceptions. In Fork's tasteless world, Cake's sweet temptation drives Fork crazy. All Cakes have a sweet scent. Their flesh, blood, and bones also carry an ecstatic sweetness. Once Fork possesses Cake, Fork will eat Cake from head to toe. And Cake know they are one since birth and must be protected.

So what do you guys think about this, for me it sounds like cannibalism with extra steps but idk everyone has their own interpretation.
