Am I ungrateful for disliking translations that aren’t done well? I feel like it takes away from the story and makes it hard to enjoy whatever I’m trying to read.
I’m talking about translators that rely on MTL and admit themselves that they don’t know what they’re doing or that it might be bad. Why post in the first place?
I also know that my opinion is unpopular but I guess I just want to know if there are others who feel similarly to me…
Trying to read bad translations is like trying to read a book in a foreign language. That you don't speak. Why would someone give you a book you can't even read and expect you to be great ful on top of it!? The worst is groups like Coolmic. They trick people into gong into their website and actually charge people for their terrible translations. Pl...... 1 reply
