my biggest icks when I read is (may be long..) :
1) When the art style looks like a person who does have good talent but is just too lazy to put in the effort and it looks shit.
2) when the characters are being really fucking cringey saying shit like "Oh, I own you..." or "My baby where are you?! Daddy isnt pleased with this!.."

I hate when the villains have no personality, all their plans suck and only exist to serve as a reason for the leads to get closer. I JUST WANT TO SEE SOME DEPTH IN THESE CHARACTERS!! PLEASE! reply
for bls: when i see homophobia/internalised homophobia or when the words women/girlfriend are being thrown around like a buzzword (basically heteronormativity in a gay fiction lol)

My biggest biggest ick ever is dumb bimbo leads I hate when a lead has nothing to offer but their looks cries at every fucking Minor inconvenience and so the other MC can save their dumb ass, like do some authors not understand that a character can be soft and have a brain.
