Is it just me or do y'all avoid reading anything below 9 rating
When i was new to the site i didn't know how things worked over here so i just read what ever had an interesting cover. what I realised was a lot of the stories i liked had high rating like up to 9.0-9.9 similarly stories I disliked had a low rating so over the years if I see that the story has high rating I immediately assume its good cuz this site rating never disappointed me. I think it is the most among other sites so I trust it this lead me to be quite picky with what I read.
truthfully, in the years i spent using this site i've noticed that ratings are VERY misleading. there's so many manhwas on this site with 9+ ratings that deserve to have at least a 3. i recommend just reading the summary of a book and making your decision from there. reply
Instead of ratings I just check the reviews, comments and art style to see if I will enjoy reading it or not because some of the nastiest shit here like Painter of the night, yours to claim, BJ alex, love is an illusion has 9+ ratings

i dont take ratings too seriously.
there are plenty of 9.4, 9.5 and even some 9.7 stories that i dislike, but there are also plenty with the same ratings or lower that i love. reply

In all these mangas the author has portrayed gay mean in a really "bad" way.. and honestly to be Frank these mangas don't deserve these kinda rating CUZ THERE ARE BETTER MANGAS ...... 1 reply
I have never checked ratings, you can't trust most of them. I prefer checking things out by either reading the synopsis or the first chapter. There are times when I read the comments to get a feel of how the story is going or if there are some trigger warnings so I can skip. reply
