Why we love possesive lovers so much?
It got me thinking, is it some psychology behind being obssesed with lovers like mafia bosses, fighters, demon kings? In real life my taste is quite opposite, the agressive guys with full of themself are giving me headache. But when it comes to stories I always loved villans with soft side for lover.
A point I hear a lot is that a lot of people like possessive characters because they want to feel loved to an extreme degree. Like they feel like they don't get a lot of love IRL so they gravitate towards possessive lovesick characters to feel loved and wanted.
It could also be for fun.
