Getting out of a revision slump
it's the Easter holidays alr and I still haven't started revision properly for my Gcses in like a month now I do get decent grades with like grade 8 on average and some 9s but ik I will get a grade 7 or 6 at this point in majority with the way my attitude toward revision is a wreck rn... ik some of you guys r probably my age (hopefully lol) so does anyone have tips to get out of this slump and could some of u j gimme a wake up call w maybe how much u have revised so I get that pressure to yk lol
people who have any advice to get out of a revision slump would be helpful
Sleep..and then elves will come and study instead...I do that too and in the morning everything is done
On a serious note... try to maybe avoid your phone and all and keep your phone and all the devices .as far as possible from you... 1 reply
I understood maybe about half them words I ain’t gon front. I’m American so idk what typa grading system you got or what a GCSES is but all I gotta say is to get yourself out of a slump, all I do is set timers for every little thing I do. It’s like a race to me, really helps the time go by 1 reply
if i was in a revision slump, to get me back into revising i guess i would do the subjects i like the most first, so then atleast i’m not doing something like physics which would have me falling asleep. idk. uummmm also try different methods of revision cuz i remember things like flashcards didn’t work for me but like blotting information (tha...... 1 reply
clean ur desk, make a list of subjects best to worse/ prioritise, make ur bed uninhabitable, download flora & realise all ur friends r doing 30 hours/week while ur averaging 5, download a check list for subjects & rate them red amber green, do a past paper and realise u know absolutely nothing, worry and start revising
