I'm turning 17 in a few months, please feel free to give some advice

None of these might apply to you, but I always regretted decisions I made while assuming that I couldn't have the thing I actually wanted. I should've made more genuine efforts/research/asked around for people who did what I wanted to do or could help me get there, that way I could handle the obstacles instead of giving up so easily.
