Why are guys have only powerful mc, sports/ dungeon or just harem n hentai, I feel shoujo, josei and yaoi has so much more to offer like shounen ai, omegaverse, along with having better artstyle on average
Huh I think you got trope and genre confused. Powerful mc is a trope, dungeon and omegaverse is a subgenre.
I mean common male targeted genres would be shounen, action, mecha, seinen or sports and it has much to offer as other genres does.
And all genre have their share problem of having cliché trope and plot lines.
