anime you like but can’t recommend
what’s an anime you love but can’t recommend to anyone? for me it’s monogatari, i love the animation but the series is so confusing, there are also a lot of weird moments. because of that i have a hard time recommending it to friends who r into more mainstream stuff. i also don’t rlly recc kill la kill but mainly cuz of the fan-service
another one is onimai, i’d probably get called a lolicon if i ever told anyone i liked this shit but the series is surprisingly wholesome and relatable if u minus the fan-service
Revolutionary Girl Utena is sooo hard to recommend because I'm like "yeah 90% of it is metaphors that I don't understand and there's a lot of grooming, pedophilia, SA, and incest BUT I SWEAR IT'S GOOD" every time I try to explain what it's about people just give me a really concerned look. Like nooo you don't understand this shit changed my life
