Would you stay friends with a morally wrong person?
Just a hypothetical question guys, if ur friend whom you've been friends with for a long time, you've been through thick and thin, up and down and all those things and then you found out that they're not what you think they are like example they're racist, sexist,etc, would you still stay friends with them?

If you're such close friends with someone there's no way they're hiding their bigotry for such a long time, you'd notice signs at some point even if they're trying to hide it. That would mean their bigotry came as a consequence of consuming some unhinged shit, in which case you can still help them understand. I'm a big believer in rehabilitation so...... 1 reply
No, because people like that (my experience) end up hurting you at some point.
I can even try and stay close in the hope that they will change over time, but if in the end they don't change and I end up harming myself along with it... Well, the friendship we had was good while it lasted. reply
Depends on your morals. You listed ones that I personally find uncomfortable if it were one of my friends. I'd probably try to understand their feelings on the subject, explain my views on the matter and either hopefully convince them otherwise or help them reflect on their views. it depends on what you define as "morally incorrect." from the above examples, no. however, i would try to educate them on why they are morally incorrect. for example, explain why racism, misogyny, or homophobia is bad. however, if they refuse to listen to reason or acknowledge my reasons and instead reject my opinions and what i believe in, as...... reply
I don't feel like I could unless they're willing to learn and change and I see actual effort. Ppl are fucked and we all have faults but not believing some ppl deserve basic human rights is where I draw the line. A lack of understanding on that level is sure to come around and hurt you at some point if you're actually a person with the correct value...... reply
