I've seen 2 student and TA relationships IRL. They're all adults but one of them has a noticeable age gap and that one seemed to have a pretty strong and healthy relationship, the other didn't last long though.
I'd say as long as they're both adults and they can both communicate well in the relationship, it may work. reply
