Your thoughts on a person who reads mostly BL?
I've watched a lot of discourse and video essays on youtube and read some on reddit about women reading BL/Yaoi, etc. But I wanna know how it's perceived in this community. I've been reading for years and will hit my 1000-mark on my "already read" content here, I do read other genres but it's mostly BL. Just wanna hear everyone's thoughts honestly.
personally doesn’t make that huge a difference to me… i feel like the whole “gay man obsessed, fetishizer with heteronormative lens” that people push onto BL readers is a heavily overblown and exaggerated narrative that paints readers in an extremely poor light (though i haven’t really been super involved with their communities, ive known...... 2 reply
