I honestly think the #celebrityblocklistis a great idea, however why are we including celebrately and influencers who HAVE talked about supporting Gaza and have sent links and donated to them?
It confuses me because one of the people on the blocklist were Zendya and she openly supports Gaza and even made a post sharing a link where they can donate to charity that are helping with the cause as well.
Blocking them isnt gonna do anything to the people of gaza. No ones feelings hurt. The people doing it probably dont do shit to help gaza(money wise) 3 reply

Yeah, that’s why even tho there’s a list, you need to research first anyway. Bcs there’s a lot of people actually use this ‘chance’ for people to block the celebrity that they hate or they’re not researching properly and adding the celebrities. reply
I think she’s on the list for other reasons..? I’ve seen people get disappointed in her for wearing blood diamonds as they are manufactured by the exploitation of the Congolese people. Why are y’all so against the celebrity blocklist? Why does it matter so much if it works or not? It literally costs nothing to block them.
And before it was so controversial to support Palestine. Speaking up, boycotting, and advocating has not stopped the war but it has brought awareness.

I think people should do their own research before blindly doing what everyone else is doing just cause it sounds like the right thing to do. Misinformation is damaging and you can't take it back once it spreads
