Im sad how people don't understand that being sad and depressed is different.
After a teen takes a look on the internet, they say they are depressed because they are related to the one post saying you are probably depressed if you feel like this, and then the list is like how normal people feel like you're depressed if you are crying so much at your grandpa's funeral, or if a teen then hops on the trend of bed rotting, like bro, you ain't bed rotting, you are comfortable, and you watch Netflix after watching you go out do something. Bed rotting is like you can't eat or can't do anything at all. Please understand me? ┑( ̄Д  ̄)┍
i think social media has a problem with trivialising a lot of mental disorders, not just depression. people love using words like "delulu", ocd, autism, adhd, psychotic until they see a person who actually deals with disorders or disabilities. i had a hard time having people take me seriously when i told them i was depressed when i was a teenager e...... reply
