Brain rot
What is yall's opinion on this increasing brain rot thing in social media. I mean it's fun to watch the memes and sometimes it's funny but it has gotten so bad in my school I swear. I cannot go one period without someone saying "erm what the sigma" at least 3 times. And I hate that it's affected my vocabulary
I rather get fucked by optimus prime than hearing "erm what the actual Sigma","oh my gyatt","skibidi rizz","Ohio Vibes".

I do find it really funny, like I'm embarrassingly amused by brain rot memes, but I also volunteer as an assistant sort of in a grade 9 class and it's a fucking nightmare there

I mean as far as I can remember it’s not necessarily anything “new”…even in elementary school we had “fads” where there were certain phrases, words, or memes we’d all parrot back to each other.
