Why do people who read Yaoi with literally mafia bosses and demons, or even the devil himself as ml get shocked when they r*pe the mc. Like, they kill people without thinking twice, and you think they wouldn't r*pe someone? And then y'all get mad at the authors, saying that they are psychopaths and shit. I ain't pro r*pe but if the character is already shown as a bad character from the start, I will not be shocked if he does that too.
I would say I am more annoyed than anything because I know they will end up together without any major consequences for the mafia, demon etc. You can start off with the character doing horrible things but not passing a certain line with the protagonist which they are probably going to end up with.

Look bro it's fantasy for a reason not to mention it's someone's imagination. Moreover these are written for fun reading not for serious stuffs where everything should be portrayed 'literally' therefore as a reader myself, I hate plots with showing literal scenes of rapes and stuffs. Mentioning it is okay like yeah the character went through some b...... reply
I'd guess it has a lot to do with reader's personal connection to the themes. there aren't a whole lot of people relatively who have had someone close to murdered by serial killers or in direct relation to organized crime but just about everyone in the world knows someone who has been saed so it becomes more directly triggering. is it hypocritic...... reply
