What is THE “Yaoi Big 3”
Like how 30 y.o. Shonēn hype-beasts have their “big 3” like it’s an undisputed fact that they are the most popular and maybe the only anime you could watch internationally at the time. And it’s always Naruto, Onepiece, and Bleach. Whether you liked it or not.
I’m thinking the yaoi big 3 is: Junjou Romantica Super Lovers Sekai ichi hatsukoi(?)
And I didn’t like a single one of themmm TT
Yaribitch club is like the sword art online when it just swept over the entire fandom
Idc what anyone says Finders series HAS to be one of the b3 it's literally one of the ogs, the other one is Sekaiichi Hatsukoi imo and the last one could be one of the popular yaois of the time like Super Lovers, Love Stage, Dakaretai Otoko or Yarichin Bitch Club, for me it would be Super Lovers (btw fyi popular doesn't always mean well-liked we sh...... reply
I feel like the big 3 has to be old and ongoing
Finder
Haru wo Daite Ita
Junjou Romantica
Who remembers okane ga nai? Bad times…bad times…
Also now that it’s a safe space, I felt forced to watch junjou romantica and didn’t like it. reply
Big 3 in bl right now are, since almost everyone that reads will know abt these
1. Jinx
2. 19 days( it’s Manuha w/o 18+ stuffs but still popular)
3. Waterside night reply
idk if it's just me but i don't see caste heaven or ten count anywhere in peoples list which is a real pity because to me they're like big 3 material fosure reply
Your list is fine, but I'd replace Super Lovers with Love Stage
This is for like pure, classic kind of BL
For serious that are gay but not necessarily considered BL:
Banana Fish
Yuri on Ice

The "big 3" are 3 shounen manga that were the most popular in the '00 in the shounen jump magazine, it has nothing to do with anime
"The big 3 is a manga term from the earlier 00s where Naruto, One Piece and Bleach where by far the 3 biggest Weekly Shonen Jump franchises by far. It is not relevant outside of that Magazine, there is others which w...... 2 reply
Banana Fish
Yuri on Ice
And DRAMAtical Murder or Hetalia I can't decide between these two
They're all incredibly popular and have been for years, even outside of usual "yaoi fandom circles." Everyone who likes BL/yaoi has likely been a fan of at least one of these. They have very dedicated fandoms that insist they're the best of the genre (not as ...... 2 reply
If you think about OG big three and not what's popular today it has to be Junjou Romantica, Sekaiichi Hasukoi and Finder. Those were definitely one of the biggest when I first got into BL haha. reply
It depends a LOT on personal taste, but let me try my best to be objective
Anime: Given, Yuri on Ice!!, Junjou Romantica
Manga: BJ Alex, Sign, Killing Stalking (although the author didn't write this as BL, it's too significant to not be included) 1 reply
