Need an opinion on whether I'm overreacting or no?
Umm so hi. So I need an opinion on this. I'm 23 and I've never dated before. I met a guy yesterday on bumble(the dating app) he was sweet in the beginning. But then he started to ask me extremely personal questions. Like sexual ones. As in "do you mast*rb*ate", "how many fingers would you like." "I'd like to relieve you from being so innocent." And several other weird ass questions it made me really uncomfortable so I told him I won't answer any of those questions. And stopped the conversation there. Am I overreacting? Or are men usually like this? I have no experience whatsoever in dating so idk how to deal with these things. Please can I get some opinions? :( I'm really confused. I'm too embarrassed to tell my irl friends.
You're not overreacting; a large part of relationships is what you're comfortable with, what your boundaries are, and whether the other person respects them.
You might not have known this was a boundary for you before, but you just figuring out that you're not comfortable with how this person is speaking to you (whether that's because this person ...... 2 reply
