Omegaverse can be enjoyable when it's not toxic as hell. There are omegaverse manga that don't have rape, abusive alpha, promote toxic masculinity, etc. There are a lot of great omegaverse manga/manhwa out there.

I'm not much as an omegaverse fan, but most manhwa/manga that use the trope are often quite repetitive. Maybe that's just my intel on the genre.

I personally like omegaverse, when reading it you really have to find a story with a great plot. I mean, their world do have some shxxty hierarchy (with the alphas, betas, omegas) and discriminations but I think there are other stories that are quite interesting and are cute or even have lessons. It's one of my favorites. I usually read fanfics that are omegaverse. The idea of it really takes my heart. Like someone is born for you. He or she is chosen to be yours. And me, theirs. I personally dont like it because I just think it's kinda weird- but also it usually ends up being the rape plot or the accidental pregnancy plot and the relationships tend to be toxic and not a good kinda toxic (If both characters are messed up sometimes they balance each other out) but for me if I see a story with a good discrimination and it hap...... 1 reply

Most omegaverses I read were very centered around sexual assault, and that's not okay. I started reading one that I thought was going to have healthy dynamics and both the MCs were clearly saying to each other they weren't about to rape each other because of their heat. Next chapter... Honestly, if the plot and characters are good, I don’t care if it’s omegaverse or not. But personally, I’m kinda neutral. There’s some really good omegaverse stories that I would personally want to reread again. As well as, super frustrating ones that make you wanna punch a hole through your screen. I really only like omegaverse stories because I have an insemination fetish as a man, so it's a simpler way to kind of indulge in that fantasy... Couldn't care less about the actual baby stuff that comes afterwards, though...
