I actually appreciate the structure behind the Omegaverse. It's not to say I like all stories based in it, since some of them are total trash. However, there are some really good ones or ones with a very strong romance to it.
To me, it's about the psychology behind the society the author is from. I have to remind myself of the author and the cult...... reply
I'm not much as an omegaverse fan, but most manhwa/manga that use the trope are often quite repetitive. Maybe that's just my intel on the genre.

I personally like omegaverse, when reading it you really have to find a story with a great plot. I mean, their world do have some shxxty hierarchy (with the alphas, betas, omegas) and discriminations but I think there are other stories that are quite interesting and are cute or even have lessons. It's one of my favorites. I usually read fanfics that are omegaverse. The idea of it really takes my heart. Like someone is born for you. He or she is chosen to be yours. And me, theirs. Most omegaverses I read were very centered around sexual assault, and that's not okay. I started reading one that I thought was going to have healthy dynamics and both the MCs were clearly saying to each other they weren't about to rape each other because of their heat. Next chapter... The alpha rapes the omega who begs him to stop. I droppe...... reply
I really only like omegaverse stories because I have an insemination fetish as a man, so it's a simpler way to kind of indulge in that fantasy... Couldn't care less about the actual baby stuff that comes afterwards, though...

Hm in smut I guess it’s a fun plot, but for like a 100 chapter story... then most of it will probably end up jut the uke pregnant and that just sparking the relationship. I mean it’s interesting sometimes seeing a character bullied cuz of their 2nd gender, but I guess it’s just eh for me reply
I enjoy reading omegaverse and will give most of them a shot. I think like any other trope there is good and bad in it.
One of the reasons I think I tend to like omegaverse is that within the omegaverse AU I feel like same sex relationships are more widely accepted. I think I tend to feel more sad/ melancholy about story lines where the character...... reply
