What manga was ruined for you?
What manga/manhwa/manhua/webtoon/whatever was ruined for you to the point where you stopped caring or just dropped it altogether? Was it becuase of the direction the story was going? The crazy fans? Controversy with the author? Or just spoilers? Take this time to rant.
Here's mine: I dropped Dawn of the Dragon. I was really enjoying it UNTIL the flashback chapters where it's revealed the Uke met the dragon Seme when he was a kid. I fucking hate that trope more than any other trope. It stops being romantic and more like the MC fucking a guy he used to babysit. People try defending it saying he wasn't a child he just took the form of one but it doesn't change the fact he still had the mind of a child and they still wind up together. Seme turning into a grown man overnight is a fucking cop out and I will fight anyone and everyone on that.
literally almost everything in my list. I dont even wanna reread them and find out the reason why i stopped. Sometimes i feel like a bot cuz why do i be reading the most random or mid stories known to man. reply
“Father I don’t want this marriage” it was cute at first cus like there were some misunderstandings but like the misunderstandings keep piling up and dont seem to get resolved and I got really annoyed n fed up with it so I just dropped it out of frustration. reply
It's funny how i immediately wanted to answer and then when i was trying to name it i lost everything. The problem is i can't name it cuz my list is too damn long. I dropped almost evey BL i read cuz the ml was toxic af and bottom suffered every chapter. I also dropped manhwa cuz either ML is shit or FL is dumb af and the story started so good but ...... 1 reply
it has gotta be jjk the reason why i dropped it because of the shipping and the amount of proships is going on in there like literally the season where it's geto and gojo's season i watched the season until toji appeared, not because i hate toji, I don't really know but i was abt to watch the episode again, but the edits of satosugu just keeps on ...... 3 reply
Dear Sa Chan in my opinion is a phenomenal yet awful fucking manga. They do great job at portraying an awful man and an over-reliant girlfriend to the point where I understand why you’d drop it. Being a shonen romance it’s already a small demographic.

its not like a story or a specific genre but ANYTHING w so much porn and smut to the point it crosses out the actual plot some of the authors are some nasty n horny people adding porn in every chapter possible to the point it becomes unbearable and u cant read it ANYMOREEE ugh i remember this manhwa thats like the guy is wanted n the other guy is ...... reply
tbh idk if ppl actually know this manhwa but The Man At Night. it's bl, it's really great and reading it made me realize a lot of good things in life that couldn't be reached by money and stuffs but it suddenly fell off. like the downfall was so random i feel like the author was just self destructive when they published the chapter where it fell of...... 2 reply
I think the ultimate answer to this is Dear Benjamin. Great story that got ruined by a p3do artist, who apparently even sold their work to minors who thought they were just getting a standard kpop idol dj book. And these were not just abstract OCs, they were aged down drawings of actual people - real life kpop idols. It’s not just a drawing anymo...... 1 reply
