What do you wish you could ask someone who believes in God, but refrain from doing so because they might feel offended by your lack of acknowledgment of the greatness of God or something similar?
I belong to a religious family and whenever I go to church, I always have questions lingering in my mind. Questions like: if God is all-powerful, why can't He stop Satan now so that all the people suffering can finally rest in peace? I don't understand, if God is love, why would He create hell for people He knew would sin to go there and suffer? I just don't understand why.
I'm assuming you ask seriously so I'm gonna response seriously.
I also grew up in religious family. I'm gonna answer based on my understanding, so it could be wrong. And this is gonna sound like I'm preaching, so you can skip if you don't wanna read.
