What do you wish you could ask someone who believes in God, but refrain from doing so because they might feel offended by your lack of acknowledgment of the greatness of God or something similar?
I belong to a religious family and whenever I go to church, I always have questions lingering in my mind. Questions like: if God is all-powerful, why can't He stop Satan now so that all the people suffering can finally rest in peace? I don't understand, if God is love, why would He create hell for people He knew would sin to go there and suffer? I just don't understand why.
why would a benevolent god let people rape toddlers if he has the power to stop it? whose faith is he testing? the baby's? the rapists? was gods plan for the baby to be used as a tool to evaluate someone elses morality? couldnt he choose a less barbaric way to decide who ends up where? didnt he already know what would happen when he created them? w...... 2 reply
