Jinx VS Roses and Champage
I've seen a lot of people constantly compare these two manhwas as an example of how both of the tops in the manhwas are ass yet people still prefer the story in roses and champagne as to Jinx and how it makes no sense so I kinda wanna hear yalls Viewpoint on it and preferences
Personally I enjoy roses and champagne more than jinx by miles mostly because in roses and champagne there's a push and pull between the top and bottom and how it isn't mainly just one sided suffering of a weak bottom like Jinx is. I can go on and on abt how much I hate Jaekyung and i can honestly do the same to Caesar but the story of jinx is honestly just Jaekyung taking all his anger out on Kim Dan and Kim Dan just taking it which makes it a much more frustrating and boring read tbh.
At least Caesar knows emotions other than rage and being a little bitch and is actually a complex character compared to Horse-face Mcgee over in Jinx throwing a fit whenever he cant get his lil boytoy living fleshlight to adhere to his every whim reply

I was lowkey left a little traumatized from Roses and Champagne to the point where I dropped it cuz there as no redeeming that, so I would say Jinx.

For me personally, it has to do with realization of the characters. Like I bitch about both of the MLs being literal assholes (like I actively pray on their downfalls while reading), but the characters feel like real people in Roses and Champagne and in Jinx they feel like 2-dimentional cardboard cut outs of characters, and it get on my nerves.

if its abt writing n execution roses n champagne def is better but if we talking abt like the actual plot n what happened in the story it’s jinx bc be fr at least in jinx someone wasn’t raped by the person who shot him while unconscious for like a week buddy be sooo serious this part makes it so much worse than jinx

I never read jinx (I'm glad I never did), but I'm aware how much of an asshole Jaekyung is. Roses and Champagne, however, is one of my favourites. The plot/storyline is actually interesting, as well as the characters.
