Sometimes I go to ppl's pages and I see that they've rated their reads all 5 stars. Like their review be like "I fucking hate ts" and the rate is still 5 stars.

If I actually take the time out my day to rate a manga it's either A, the best fucking thing I've ever read or B, the shittiest fucking thing I've ever read and I'm leaving a review to make sure I don't read it again reply
Or people that leave a 1* rate on underrated gems saying 'ima read this later' or even on a positive comment. Like, what is this for ??
I don't get it. If you wanna use the rating system for a personal use in your reading list, just use the notes ?? Or just don't rate it if you haven't read it ?? What is so damn hard about it

If I rate a manga it means that I have some strong opinion about it, whether a good one or a bad one
About 80%+ of the manga I've read I didn't give a rating to cuz I just don't gaf about them reply
I don't understand people who don't rate the stuff they read... like it's half of the fun☹️ I try to write at least a sentence for everything I read, but sometimes I just can't think of anything I love writing reviews tho it's so fun 1 reply
Like many others, I only rate things if I have strong opinions on them. When I rate it's usually only 5 stars cause I loved a story so much but occasionally I give 1s if it's so diabolically bad. Sometimes I give 4 if it's good but with something left desired. reply

The 5 stars are for the stories that I finished reading and loved absolutely every moment of it and want more
The 4 stars are for the stories that i finished and liked but was a bit boring
The 3 stars are for stories that i finished but didn't like some aspects of it

yes, I love rating the stuff I read/have read. I don't just give random ratings tho, for the stuff I genuinely like they all get 5 stars, sometimes wishing I could give them a higher rating if possible.
