Friendship Jealousy
Do you guys experience this? Like your bestfriend having another friends and you feel like they're only yours?
I have a bestfriend that told me he has new 4 bestfriends and close with them the same way we are ( we are friends for 10 yrs, he only know them for months) but for me, he's my only one. I felt like shit about it but never told him so I just started being close to other people and found someone which I will call A, that vibes with me.
A and I ended up being close in just a short time. We are always talking, gaming,hanging out, and my bestfriend got jealous bout it(his friend told me) and he feels like as if I'm replacing him.I thought since he has other bestfriends , I will just invest time in other people
Tbh it seems like he was trying to make YOU jealous because I'm pretty sure it's common sense not to brag about how you made 4 new best friends to your best friend of 10years well at least not the way he did it anyway honestly if I was you I would just talk it out with him and see what he says and trust me I'm talking from experience I have 2 best ...... 1 reply
I’ve 100% have felt jealous when I see my closest friend spend more time with someone else than me and that makes me fear getting replaced etc. I’m sure everyone has felt that feeling before.

I've experienced this a lot with my friend M, and them vice versa. We didn't know the other thought the same until we started arguing one day and it all spilled out. We were mad at each other for a while (cooling off) before we talked about it with each other and explained how we felt towards everything, even if that feeling is considered an 'ugly'...... reply
ive stopped being friends with someone ive been friends with for five years just a few months ago! and safe to say i dont regret a single thing. they shit talked about my new friends i have gotten close to, which is a total red flag. they tried to make them be my only friend and proceeded to have a bunch of best friends while isolating me and sayin...... 1 reply
I think that everyone has a form of this. However My best friend has this really bad, and always has. It can be pressuring when you want to make friends but in the back of your mind, you have to think if they will get upset if you do it.
