I don't mind other people self shipping but personally I would NEVER do it. It's so embarrassing imagining yourself with your favorite character, knowing damn well they'll never look your way if you existed in real life. I do have OCs but I don't see myself in those OCs, and they look nothing like me   1 reply

While I don't really "self ship" any more, I don't think it's wrong or weird either. It's just people using their imagination. For some people, it's a form of escaping a reality they are unhappy with, even if just for a little bit. From loneliness or unhappiness, or for whatever reason. Or they could be young and haven't had a real relationship yet......   1 reply
