personally my favorite type of fl is one who starts off naive and weak but learns fo be independent as the story goes on (like yona from yotd or psyche from your throne)
i hate hate hate it when theyre incredibly dense and the story pretends like that side of them is supposed to be charming. the "the fact that im not aware of my appeal is my appeal" type. that katarina bitch gave me anger issues
I dislike stories that pit women against each other for senseless reasons. Why fight over a man when you could fight for world domination instead? Jokes aside, I'm not saying women can't have conflicts or display negative emotions; it's just tiresome to see the same old trope played out repeatedly.
