Hi im 14 and im from a family whos scared of every animal on the face of the earth on the other hand i want to be a vet because i love animals but. My family's even scared of a hamster but i like them even snakes are adorable to me and i adore bigger dog breeds I made my mom promise to let me get a pet for my 15th b-day( august 30th) what should i get?
You might want to start by asking what kind of animals your family is least scared of. Try and figure out if they're just scared or if it's an actual phobia because even if they can work on their phobias they will probably never really be comfortable around that animal.
