idk about yall but it's a red flag for me if someone never engages with media that has women in it
Like no matter what their gender is, if all the media they watch/read is only men with absolutely no lead characters who are women, I don't want to be that person's friend.
for me its not necessarily a female lead but media thats created by women. if someone goes out of their way to avoid books with female authors or movies directed by women they have a serious lack of perspective and we're def not gonna get along 4 reply
There are weird people, even women who just seem to hate all female characters for some reason. I understand hating some female characters, but to not even give a female character a chance is weird 2 reply
I think it's really hard to find such a person practically, since so many stories with male leads also have a female lead if there is romance or harem. Ig it depends of OP's definition of lead character, but still it is probably damn hard to find such a person. If there really is someone that would go as far as to avoid all stories containing women...... 1 reply

I would like to propose that I should be the exception to this rule. I like psychological stories a lot, and I feel like every time it has a female lead it often has a subtext of kinky torture
