Am I the only one who dislike reading Doujinshi (Yaoi version) of manga/anime which I have read?
I like yaoi & shounen ai, but i really cannot fathom that characters that I have read and known are being shipped around and sexualized.. Eg, Detective Conan, Naruto
But, i still read doujinshi for manga/anime that i havent read since I have no emotional connection with the characters.. Eg. Gintama, Free!, Yuri on Ice
Ahhh I feel you.
At first it was hard for me to take in but when the art is really nice of the doujinshi I actually accept it. When I mean nice I mean that its very close to the original manga or just somewhat similar! However I only read the CP's I actually prefer and makes sense in my head.
