Mangas, Manhwas or Manhuas?
Have your preferences changed in reading either since you started reading comics? I've recently come to realise that mangas have grown on me and it's been really fun. Previously my reading preferences were confined to manhwas cause I had a bad impression of mangas, stuff like - "oh they aren't colored" "Its hard to understand and easy to get confused cause of the reading format" "Average artstyle" etc.. But the more I read, the more I came to like them and my initial reservations faded. Now I thoroughly enjoy reading them <3 I used to read popular manhuas sporadically, but grew tired of the similar art style, that is wonky eyes, pale skin and stick thin physique, clichéd character personalities and furthermore, the Chinese censorship frustrated me and led me to lose interest, while I may reconsider them in the future, it won't be anytime soon. What about you?
All three, a good story is a good story and tbh even though I have to turn my brain on to understand wtf the manhua translation wants to say it’s still worth it reply
All of my favorite things I've read have been manga FS (except orv), but the Majority of what I read is actually manhwa just because there is a lot more of it.
It honestly just depends on if I'm feel quality or quantity.
Sometimes I just want something stupid to read ┑( ̄∇ ̄)┍

Think have DEFINETLY changed.
I still adore the old school type mangas, but nowadays I have to say the korean works are just much better. Not just in art but also writing. There are just barely any mangaka that have a more semi-realistic style, which is what I fell in love with ever since I discovered Akira Norikazu. But in korean works you can fi...... 3 reply
Idrk why but i sometimes have trouble reading manhuas im not really sure of the reason, probably because of the artstyles it usually has? Its usually so shiny and uses alot of bright color which is fine but i sometimes just get tired of seeing it so i drop manhuas alot ofc there's exceptions, plus finding an actual properly translated manhua is a...... reply
Anything but manhuas I just dislike the manhua story telling style. It's usually full of comedy bits and chibis, and the plot is plain but dragged over hundreds of chapters yet still manages to feel fast paced and unreadable. It's so weird. reply
