let twinks and fem boys live I beg you

This is literally just a rant you are welcome to stay but know that I am dead set on this point on view and I ultimately don't care what you have to say about it.

The fastest way for me to figure out when a user is a cisgender heterosexual is when I see them bring up these gender conforming and heteronormative bs arguments. That for me is more fetishistic than liking twinks in stories. the "I don't like feminine men and boys in BL" to "Men are invading women spaces" to transphobia to "I low key agree with some of these far right ideologies" pipeline is waayy shorter than you guys think and I'm tired of seeing you repackage literal Jordan Peterson talking points and vomiting them on here like we are not going to notice.

Poorly written characters are poorly written regardless of how they present on the gender spectrum. I will take me as an example, I HATE how meek and feminine female characters are written in Shojo and straight romance at large it makes my skin crawl because I don't see myself in them at all and they don't align with my personal vision of what femininity looks like. Do I think all feminine women in fiction are wrong and meek fl = bad character/story. No because I literally don't care how other people view gender or where they fall on that spectrum. Those stories are not for me and it is a ok. I'm literally out here fighting depression and anxiety day in and day out like I really don't give a fuck.

Do you see where I'm going with this? Gender is a SPECTRUM you guys sound like honest to god boomers trying to establish an acceptable level of masculinity that these characters should ascribe to and you keep saying "ohh but I'm fine with fem boys and twink irl" are you sure you are? because what happens often is these beliefs transfer to how you think about real people too. If you are fine with it you should be fine with it everywhere not just sometimes in some places when the sun is hitting right and they are not cross dressing.

Also consider that drag queens, non binary and trans people very much exist and they are here on this website with you and they can see you frothing at the mouth about how a man should and should not present and behave.

Should there be more diversity hell yes I want story with gender non conforming characters, I want dominant women, I want larger bodies and more people of colours and black people in my manga and manhwa. But dying on the hill of twinks are not ok in BL is not only dumb it really shouldn't be your priority we've got bigger fish to fry.
