Nursing student here. Getting assigned a new patient is so anxiety inducing. There's so much build up too, getting report, looking through their chart, and finally going to the patient's room. I feel my heart rate increase the moment I step into the unit.

people going to your house. As someone whos family is poor, I cant help but feel wary of what our house's looks like and what their thoughts on it when they do come inside and I cant help but assume that theyre judging me for it since we are financially struggling unlike them
