im in a dilemma
basically. it was my friends birthday on wednesday, lets call her nonk and i had gotten her a gift, with another gift on the way. my birthday was yesterday, she sent my happy birthday to me on messages and i was all like ahh thanks.
THE THING IS SHE HASNT GOTTEN ME A GIFT.
now i know i seem eager but weve been friends depending on each other for a few years now and today i gave her the other gift. i nonchalantly bought up like blablabla and stuff like oh yeah i wont gift someone who doesnt give me gift (bc who does hello im saving money) dont get me wrong, i LOVE this girl (platonically yeah) and i just need someone to ease my mind that shes maybe still preparing a gift because i spent time and thought into hers and to not receive anything back from the one person that knows all about me and we hang out litch every day?? it hurts a bit.
if i were to ask, how should i even bring it up?? trust me, she isnt those bitchy girls at all, shes the sweetest (ish..) girl ever and we depend on each other a lot, theres never a moment we arnt together during break + lunch and lessons we have together, we never need to hide each other personality because we are both equally abnormal and we gossip n allattt without a care in the world #girlhood
i believe it's best to be straightforward. some ppl won't take the hint unless you say it to their face yk? also you've been friends for many years now, telling her that you're sad that she didn't give you a gift won't make you combust spontaneously. your ego might say that you needn't stoop low like that...it might say that you deserve better... b...... 2 reply
