Under-appreciated story settings or plot devices?
Tell me some of your under-appreciated settings or plot devices you wish were more frequently used! Anything from an overarching world setting, over situations they meet in to detailed plot devices like stumbling and nearly falling but being caught by the love interest (which is such an actually old cliche now that i think about it).
Pretty sure we've all come across something that's good in stories but seldom used. Tell me what you found on your reading adventures or what you thought of by yourself!
I would love to see a story where there are more than one relationship. Not at a time. But focus on both equally like in a regular relationship, then break up and move on to the end game. But not a love triangle
I also would love to see more poly couples where the focus is on all of them loving each other.
