no ur right, the algorithm definitely plays a part in what you see, but I think a lot of the strong reactions against things like fujoshi culture come from misunderstandings or a lack of nuance in conversations. it’s frustrating when everything gets reduced to labels like "fetishization" or "homophobic" without much room for a more thoughtful dis...... reply
