sometimes i see people's comments on bls and they're like "uke is so cool" or "seme is so fineee" and idk it pisses me off i would like to see people refer to the characters by their names and not their position in the relationship... idk it just feel dehumanizing to me ig? (even tho they're fictional... honestly i probably shouldn't care ) but then again, i don't mind when people refer to the characters as mc or ml and idk if that's hypocritical of me
Don't confuse BL and Yaoi couples with real same-sex couples, BL and Yaoi is a fiction genre deliberately conceived to be marketed mostly at women readers, with a commenrcial purpose, which is why it's so filled to the brim with clichès and fetishes.
