What’s your opinion on “it’s better to die after getting SA-ed”?
My exact question is when people who have never been sa-ed tell sa victims this, or when a sa victims kills themself after, they say “they’re better off dead”. What do you think?
That's retarded.
Source: was SA'd by 2 diff people in the span of 1 year when I was younger, and now a handful of years later I'm completely fine & thriving actually. Living a very happy and chill life. It's an awful experience to go thru, but it doesn't have to ruin you forever. reply
I think it’s very disrespectful. I mean how do you know? Who are you to say they are better off dead? You might have imagined in your mind that if you get sa-ed, you will kys but I don’t think you can just decide that for someone else, you aren’t even the one who went through the horrible tormenting process of sa, you actually might not yours...... reply
damn never met people like this, I've only seen people who have never experienced SA say that SA victims should forgive their assaulter, and i dont know which one is wrose ☠️ 1 reply
I attempted once cause of SA and although it makes you feel so worse and its hard to live but some therapy and comfort of your friends can help you forget about it. We aren't the one better off dead, its our abusers and assaulters who chose to do that to us. reply
My lazy answer is theyre either born unempathetic psychos with sexual assaulter potential or theyre probably sa culprits themselves. Both shud f off n die reply
They should kill themselves first, society doesnt need unempathetic garbage
Its not any better for me to say that but that should tell them that it doesnt feel good nor its not good to tell anyone to keys no matter what they're going through reply
I don't think it's for any one of us to have a public opinion on someone else's circumstances
if someone chooses to take their own life after it, that's their choice. it's sad, and of course we want to try to prevent it, but there's a limit to how much external factors can change someone's mind ever, on anything. if they themselves have decided tha...... reply
that's a ridiculous thing to say wtf. in this world, where a lot of victims get invalidated, ostracized and downright harassed (example- they were out there making memes of Amber Heard's rape testimony), we need to turn the conversation around. too much scrutiny is directed towards victims, and not enough towards the disgusting humans who did these...... reply
