What’s your opinion on “it’s better to die after getting SA-ed”?
My exact question is when people who have never been sa-ed tell sa victims this, or when a sa victims kills themself after, they say “they’re better off dead”. What do you think?
Jesus Christ. whoever says something like this is garbage. so the victim is better off dead but not the actual perpetrator? As someone who's been through this, I've dealt with and still deal with all the horrible thoughts that come along with SA. The opinions of others who knew deeply affected me. It never influenced me to kms, thinking that it's better than living with the past, but I do remember having a sudden flashback that reminds me of my SA. I remembered the smell that I still hate; the worst part is I still smell that, but I'm not sure if it's just my mind playing tricks on me or if I created that nightmare that still haunts me today...... 2 reply
I think it's easer for the people who say these things to just say them than to actually think about them. Not because they're lazy but because rhe topic is too unconfortable and potantially painful to seriously think through. It's a defence mechanism reply
