why are there so many puritans on this site??
so much of the featured manga is hardcore, toxic, crazy seme, etc etc but then the comments are always split with people talking normally and people complaining about the toxicity, calling the author/audience freaks and shit like that. i am genuinely curious if theres an actual reason for this but this is mainly a complaint (￣ε(#￣)Σ

I don't know, I think it's pretty reasonable to call out toxic stuff. Even if people don't read the summary or tags, it doesn't make the story less toxic. Also tags and summaries can be wrong or misleading.
If those comments bother you, just don't read them. Are they wrong? If the story is toxic, why can't people call that out?

See, here's your mistake: You are honestly expecting people to READ. Be it the description or genre tags. Some people are not up for that incredibly challenging task.

Its a comment section for a reason. Don't expect for all readers to have the same reaction as we have different perspective when reading any material and I think it is everyone's hobby to give his/her thoughts after reading one. Just like what you agree otherwise, click the dislike button or better yet don't engage. Just handle what you can control...... reply

I think one of the factors would be the lack of trigger warnings or proper tags—esp for works that do not have official eng trans. Also mangago is not even a legal site, minors can easily access adult/R-rated stories unlike on legal sites like ridi, lezhin, tappy etc. Most puritans and the so called moral police readers as what Ive noticed are mi...... reply
