My nipples are itchy cus i decided to get nipple piercing

i asked my friends 2 days ago on how to look more gay and they said "nipple piercing" and they thought i wouldnt get it but i did... ARE PIERCINGS NORMALLY THIS ITCHY?? i did get piercings before but they never itched so can anyone tell me if they experienced itchiness or i should go ro a doctor
