My music never fits the mood of the shit Im reading though. I’ll be listening to rage against the machine while reading fluff and folk (fairytale type shit, like ‘i live in a cottage in the middle of the woods’) while reading the darkest most depressing stories. reply

Then I use musics. Not to just distract anyone who comes by but it distract myself from the fact I’m out of my comfort zone and to allow myself to relax a bit...... reply
YES whenever i read something it HAS to have music with it. but i do listen to a lot of...variety. like my playlist has classical music, death metal rock, and nirvana, taylor perry... reply
Sometimes, but most of the time I'm not. If I really like a series though I'll try to find songs that remind me of it and make a playlist for it. reply
sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. usually, i keep the radio (bc having to pick songs or playlists is too annoying) running in the background so that my place doesn't feel too quiet but i'm fine either way... there's always a catchy chorus of some random song playing in my head almost all the time anyway :') reply
