I hate it because many have set the plot where the father/mother/Sibling is manipulating their child/sibling into loving them. It soon becomes a sick and twisted kind of "love". Especially, those mangas that made it so that the parent becomes a widow/widower and so preys on the kid because they look like the dead parent.
