Why do I like MC's that are miserable
I swear, the only reasons that I read a manhwa is either it's funny or if the mc is really fuckin' miserable. I have read a few manhwa/mangas that has a miserable mc and I devoured all of it. My algorithm in t*ktok has recommended me alot of historical romance manhwas — not the basic plots but the very frustrating thrilling plot kind of historical romance manhwas, I haven't read all of it because I'm waiting for it to finish. I also like action manhwas especially if the plot of the manhwa is that the mc suffers for years (regression) I also read a manhwa, it's not an action manhwa — it's modern and has the usual system, it's about surviving as an idol or you'll die, if you guessed it.. you're right it's debut or die.
I'm really rambling a lot but the real question is..am I sadistic?

You should ask yourself if you like that "trope" to what extent.
And if your projecting onto the character.
I quiet enjoy body switches a lot , the idea of it , is unrealistic but I get a sort of satisfaction after I've read a good body switch manhwa.
Do you want to experience regression ? Or perhaps your just fond of the idea.
