Any japanese people here?

I have to make a presentation about japanese diplomatic and business etiquette and there's something I can't find an answer to. The traditional gift wrapping method 'furoshiki' can be used for business gifts too? Or is that too casual? I read both that it's disrespectful and also that it's okay. Pls help!!
